3 Primo artists featured in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra 2024/25 season
Three Primo artists appear with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra this season. From February 27 - March 2, Seong-Jin Cho returns with Santtu-Matias Rouvali playing Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2. James Gaffigan returns for a third season in a row to lead an American-themed evening of music that includes Dvořák, Bernstein and Gershwin with soprano Janai Brugger as soloist May 31. In June, Randall Goosby makes his CSO debut on the Orchestra’s first performances of Florence Price’s Violin Concerto No. 2 with Sir Mark Elder.
