3 Primo artists featured in the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra 2024/25 season
Three Primo artists appear with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra this season. Itzhak Perlman performs film favorites in the season-opening gala September 1 in honor of his commitment to music education and encouraging the next generation of musicians. Cristian Măcelaru leads the orchestra in their premiere of Sean Shepherd’s “Sprout” and Brahms Symphony No. 4 May 30 - June 1. Beatrice Rana returns on Mendelssohn Piano Concerto No. 1 with Music Director Manfred Honeck June 13 - 15.
