Edinburgh International Festival announces 2024 season featuring 3 Primo artists

Three Primo artists appear at the Edinburgh International Festival this summer where Nicola Benedetti commences her second season as Festival Director. This year’s festival theme is ‘Rituals That Unite Us,’ a direct response to last year’s focus on ‘Where do we go from here?’ to which thousands replied with the necessity for unity. Benedetti performs twice throughout the festival, at the First Night Concert on August 4 and with the Philharmonia Orchestra on August 25 in a family concert exploring the animal kingdom. James Gaffigan brings Komische Oper Berlin’s production of “The Marriage of Figaro” August 16 - 18. Seong-Jin Cho performs a recital of Ravel and Liszt on August 19.
