For Immediate Release — Violinist Joshua Bell will perform at the GRAMMY Awards® which takes place at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26, 2020. The broadcast airs live on CBS Television Network on January 26, 2020 at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT / 1:00am GMT (+1).

The GRAMMY Awards® Ceremony will be hosted by Alicia Keys. A tribute will be paid to GRAMMY Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich and to acknowledge the GRAMMY Museum® and the importance of music education in schools to the Recording Academy. Several artists associated with Ken Ehrlich will perform a song entitled “I Sing The Body Electric” from the film Fame. The performance will feature Joshua Bell alongside GRAMMY nominees Camila Cabello, Gary Clark Jr., and John Legend, joined by Debbie AllenCommonMisty CopelandLang LangCyndi LauperBen Platt and the War And Treaty.

“To bring high-caliber artists like Camila Cabello, Cyndi Lauper, Common, Misty Copeland, Debbie Allen, Ben Platt, Gary Clark Jr., Joshua Bell, and Lang Lang together on one stage fulfills a dream of mine,” said Ehrlich, who is completing his 40th and final GRAMMY Awards as producer. “To be able to do this on the GRAMMY stage makes it unforgettable for me.”

Preceding the GRAMMY Awards® Ceremony will be the GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony®, on which Nicola Benedetti will perform. Benedetti is nominated for Best Classical Instrumental Solo (Marsalis: Violin Concerto; Fiddle Dance Suite). Wynton Marsalis is nominated for Best Contemporary Classical Composition (Marsalis: Violin Concerto) and Cristian Măcelaru is nominated for his role as Conductor for Best Classical Instrumental Solo (Marsalis: Violin Concerto).

The live stream of the Premiere Ceremony®, which precedes the GRAMMY Awards Telecast, will commence on January 26, 2020 at 3:30pm ET / 12:30pm PT / 8:30pm GMT. It will remain on GRAMMY.com as video on demand for 90 days following the event.
