Media coverage on Randall Goosby signing with Primo Artists and HarrisonParrott
This week, media highlighted the news that Randall Goosby has signed with Primo Artists and HarrisonParrott for Joint General Management.
The Violin Channel announced the news on their home page. The site writes: “He was a first prize winner at the 2018 Young Concert Artists International Audition and more recently performed at the 43rd Kennedy Center Honors ceremony. ‘I am truly honored to be joining forces with Primo Artists and HarrisonParrott for joint general management, and humbled to be part of such esteemed and storied artist rosters,’ Goosby commented.”
The Strad also presented Goosby’s signing on its home page, writing: “Randall Goosby aims to make music more inclusive and accessible, as well as bringing the music of under-represented composers to light. [He states] ‘For me, personally, music has been a way to inspire others.’”
Norman Lebrecht from Slipped Disc describes Goosby as the “Hot young violinist.” Lebrecht writes: “He already record contract with Decca already in place… Too hot for one agency to handle.”
Susan Elliott from Musical America writes: “Violinist Randall Goosby, 24, has signed for joint general management with HarrisonParrott and Primo Artists… Despite his relative youth, Goosby has performed with some of the top ensembles, including the New York Philharmonic and the Cleveland Orchestra, and in recital at Wigmore Hall. He was also among the performers at the Kennedy Center Honors, broadcast earlier this month on CBS. Upcoming dates include the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Gustavo Dudamel and the London Philharmonic, plus quite a number of recitals.”
