News from Primo Artists | December 2016
November was a busy month for Itzhak Perlman. First, a highly anticipated, sold-out play/conduct performance with the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall. Perlman also made his Broadway debut, kvetching and joking around with John Mulaney and Nick Kroll on Broadway's most hilarious show, Oh Hello on Broadway.
On December 4th, Perlman joined Yefim Bronfman in Washington, D.C. to play a surprise musical tribute for the legendary pianist Martha Argerich, who received a Kennedy Center Honor. The taped presentation of the 39th Kennedy Center Honors will be broadcast December 27th at 9pm ET/8pm CT nationwide on CBS.
Joshua Bell makes two television appearances this month! Bell’s Seasons of Cuba program, celebrating a new era of cultural diplomacy, will air on Live from Lincoln Center this Friday, December 16th. Special guests include singer/songwriter/guitarist Dave Matthews, Cuban artists Aldo López-Gavilán and Carlos Varela, and the Chamber Orchestra of Havana. Click here to check local listings and here for a sneak peek of the segment. Bell also appears as a guest on the current season of Amazon’s Golden Globe award-winning hit show, Mozart in the Jungle. The new series launched on December 9th and can be streamed here.
