Last week, Seong-Jin Cho performed Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Munich Philharmonic and Valery Gergiev.

Beatrice Rana recently performed duo concerts in Spain with violinist Renaud Capuçon for live audiences!

Today on April 15th at 7:30pm CT, The Schubert Club presents Beatrice Rana in a duo recital with her sister, cellist Ludovica Rana. Cal Performances presents Beatrice in a solo virtual recital of Bach, Debussy and Chopin on May 13, 2021. Be sure to tune in for both streamed performances!

Joshua Bell recently played a round of golf with ClubLife Magazine’s Tom Bedell, reflecting on the similarities between the sport and performing on stage, both of which require “letting your right brain take over and use your feel and creativity.”

On April 29, 2021, Benedetti performs the World Premiere of Mark Simpson’s Violin Concerto in a streamed performance with the London Symphony Orchestra and Gianandrea Noseda.

On March 8th, The Solti Foundation US announced Gemma New as the 2021 winner of the prestigious Sir Georg Solti Conducting Award!

Gemma New made her Spain debut March 8-18, 2021 with the Basque National Orchestra. The program, which featured Prokofiev Violin Concerto No. 2 and Schumann Symphony No. 3, will be broadcast on the orchestra’s YouTube page on May 11, 2021.

Gemma returns to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for her second season as Principal Guest Conductor, performing April 22-25, 2021 on a program of Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with Augustin Hadelich and Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite.

James Gaffigan was featured last week in The New York Times’  “Five Things to Do This Weekend” for his Komische Oper Berlin debut! He was recently appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera, a position that lasts for two seasons.

Gaffigan will lead the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra next month in his final program as Chief Conductor, just prior to commencing his new position as Music Director of the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra.

Last month, Christian Reif conducted the Orchestre National d’Île de France in a performance of Stravinsky’s Apollon Musagète.
