News from Primo Artists | Winter 2019

BEATRICE RANA

Beatrice just finished her epic 9-city U.S. recital tour here with top media coverage! She was featured 3 times in The New York Times being dubbed a “stellar pianist” and “one to watch” and was additionally featured in The Boston Globe and on WQXR. Her Carnegie Hall debut was a massive success and prompted Anthony Tommasini of The New York Times to write the following rave review: “Beatrice Rana set a new standard for me. She made the Chopin sound as poetic and colorful as anything he ever wrote. Her playing was refined and soft-spoken in its brilliance throughout. She had the audience rapt.”

GEMMA NEW

The extraordinary 32-year-old conductor Gemma New joined our roster for General Management in January 2019! Gemma is Music Director of the Hamilton Philharmonic, Resident Conductor of the St. Louis Symphony and recently appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the Dallas Symphony. She will make debuts this summer with the San Francisco Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony and Philadelphia Orchestra.

Each video receives nearly 100,000 views by young musicians and in classrooms and studios around the world.
