Itzhak Perlman reschedules Westcoast tour due to surge in Omicron variant
For Immediate Release — Due to the surge in the Omicron variant, Itzhak Perlman has postponed his Westcoast tour originally scheduled for January 2022.
Perlman was scheduled to present his multi-media program, “Evening with Itzhak Perlman”, with pianist Rohan De Silva at San Francisco Symphony’s Davies Symphony Hall, Seattle Symphony’s Benaroya Hall and Escondido’s California Center for the Arts on January 16, 18 and 25 respectively, and to perform a recital with Rohan De Silva at the LA Phil’s Walt Disney Concert Hall on January 26. Additionally, he was scheduled to make a concerto appearance with the Oregon Symphony on January 20.
The San Francisco, Seattle, Escondido and Los Angeles dates have all been rescheduled to April 2022. The Oregon Symphony engagement has been rescheduled to January 19, 2023.
