POSITION: Social Media Coordinator
STATUS: Part-Time leading to Full-Time
START DATE: December 15, 2020

Based in New York, Primo Artists is a dynamic, leading classical music agency in North America. Founded in 2015 by Charlotte Lee, Primo Artists has a selective roster and personalized approach in representing the world’s finest classical artists, from rising stars to household names. The agency represents 10 Artist Management clients and, now with its newly created Social Media Division, is representing a growing list of Social Media Management clients.

Primo Artists seeks a Social Media Coordinator. The role reports directly to the President & Founder. This candidate will manage the digital and social media presence for the agency and our Social Media Management clients.

We are looking for a self-motivated and collaborative team member who is undaunted by challenges in a fast-paced environment, as well as passionate and knowledgeable about classical music. The candidate must be professional, proactive, well-organized and detailed-oriented, impeccable in his/her communication skills, and able to multi-task without guidance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee social-media channels and all published content

  • Create copy and execute/lead graphic design of all digital and social media content

  • Consult with growing roster of leading classical music clients

  • Drive consistent adoption of digital and social best practices

  • Liaise with internal and external partners such as record labels and concert presenters

  • Manage a team of social media interns

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Impeccable and efficient attention to detail

  • High aptitude yet willingness to learn

  • In-depth knowledge and effective use of social-media platforms

  • Proficiency with graphic design and image-editing software

  • Self-motivation, responsiveness and intuition to anticipate needs

  • Mastery in handling and prioritizing a large workload

  • Availability to work evenings and weekends each week

  • Bachelor’s degree and classical-music background

  • Experience in the performing-arts industry is a plus
