Primo Artists internship program now accepting applications for May - August 2021

Based in New York, Primo Artists is one of the top artist management agencies in the world. Founded in 2015 by industry leader Charlotte Lee, we pride ourselves on being the most modern agency in the field and having a selective roster of the world’s finest classical artists: Violinist/conductor Itzhak Perlman, violinists Joshua Bell and Nicola Benedetti, pianists Seong-Jin Cho and Beatrice Rana, conductors Cristian Măcelaru, James Gaffigan, Christian Reif and Gemma New, and composer Wynton Marsalis. With over 20,000 followers of our channels, we recently launched a Social Media and PR Division and represent a growing roster of clients to optimize and build their presence in an ever-evolving digital world.

Primo Artists has an intensive Internship program. Our interns assist in a wide range of responsibilities with a primary focus on the promotional side of the agency’s work. Only the brightest, committed, most passionate and exceptionally detail-oriented candidates will be eligible.

Responsibilities

Social Media/PR Support

  • Prepare and publish Social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter

  • Optimize/design graphics and edit videos

  • Update Primo Artists’ and artists’ websites

General Support

  • Maintain the most up-to-date information in Customer Relationship Management system

  • Complete research projects and tasks as assigned

Skills and Requirements

  • Current college student or recent graduate with passion and training in classical music 

  • Impeccable and efficient attention to detail

  • High aptitude yet willingness to learn

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with graphic design and image-editing software

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Availability and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends

  • Proprietary computer, strong Wi-Fi and minimum of one Apple device

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and all Social media platforms

Conditions

Minimum 18-20 hours per week for three months, renewable upon mutual consent.

Work will be done remotely and attendance is expected at weekly video conference meetings.

Position is unpaid. Intern could receive college credit from his/her institution.
