Randall Goosby featured on BBC News while on debut UK tour
On September 30, 2021, BBC News spotlighted Randall Goosby and declared him as a violinist who champions music by black composers, and as the rising star of classical music at age 25. While Goosby currently tours the United Kingdom with music from his first album “Roots,” a compilation of work composed predominantly by black artists, the BBC spoke to him just before the tour kicked off with a concert at St. David’s Hall in Cardiff, Wales. They also highlighted he recent performance at the 9/11 memorial ceremony early in the month and has been described as an artist who is “shaping the future of music”.
