WQXR Exclusive Event: Benedetti and Marsalis

On January 16, 2019, Nicola Benedetti is joined by the legendary Wynton Marsalis for an exclusive ‘Classical Up Close’ event. Hosted by WQXR and emceed by broadcaster Clemency Burton-Hill, the evening will take place at the Greene Space in New York City at 7pm.

WQXR describes it: “After the huge success of the violin concerto Marsalis wrote for Benedetti in 2015, they have teamed up on a new artistic and educational collaboration. In this intimate event, we'll get exclusive insight into that process as well as a live performance by Benedetti.”

Pianist Alexei Grynyuk will also join in for the event.
