Sonia Kanigel

Public Relations Manager Sonia Kanigel joined Primo Artists after covering the music industry from the editorial side for more than a decade. As Senior Editor at Music Trades Magazine, she traveled and reported on live events across North America, Europe and Asia, covering events with artists such as Lang Lang and former New York Philharmonic Principal Clarinetist Stanley Drucker. During that time, she worked closely with institutions such as Steinway and Yamaha, as well as numerous music education groups and nonprofits.

She has also studied music intensively from a data and analytics standpoint, developing reports to illuminate trends and standout performers in the music world.

In her spare time, Sonia continues to write about musical topics on a freelance basis. Based in New Jersey, she is also a hobbyist musician on clarinet, piano and guitar, and enjoys singing in choirs.
