Tabitha Brandel

Tabitha Brandel joined Primo Artists in 2020 and has risen in two short years from intern to Assistant Artist Manager and Social Media and Publicity Manager.

During her internship, Tabitha quickly mastered classical music social media promotion through her copywriting and graphic design for Primo’s channels. When Primo launched its Social Media Division in November 2020, Tabitha became the first employee of the Department as the company’s Social Media Coordinator, a position created for her. It was in this role that Tabitha took on managing social media for leading artists such as conductors James Gaffigan and Cristian Măcelaru and GRAMMY® Award-winning composer Steven Mackey. By March 2021, she expanded into publicity with PR representation of James Gaffigan and Gemma New, working on press releases and campaigns in coordination with arts institutions, securing and arranging media interviews, and building awareness of these artists. With a growing Social Media roster, Tabitha now manages all 14 Social Media clients for the company’s Social Media Division as the chief curator and content creator to raise these artists’ profiles and increase their followings in social, digital and traditional media.

A trained mezzo-soprano, Tabitha studied Vocal Performance at High Point University in North Carolina where graduated in December 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Minor in Marketing. She has participated in SongFest at the Colburn School in Los Angeles and placed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Competition. She was cast as Third Spirit in North Carolina Opera’s 2020 production of The Magic Flute and, in November 2021, she performed with the High Point Community Orchestra under the direction of Brian Meixner as winner of the 2021 High Point University Student Concerto Competition.
