News from Primo Artists | Summer 2015

2015 is a banner year for conductor Cristian Măcelaru, with three appearances in NYC. Following a highly successful Carnegie Hall debut in February, Măcelaru made his Cincinnati Opera debut in June on a magnificent production of Verdi's "Il Trovatore". The Cincinnati Enquirer lauded: "He was a sensitive accompanist ... The orchestra's playing was immaculate." This August, Măcelaru makes his Lincoln Center debut at the Mostly Mozart Festival, and in November, he makes his New York Philharmonic subscription debut.

Earlier this month, violinist Arnaud Sussmann had a smashing success in his North Carolina orchestral debut at the Brevard Music Festival. He played the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the Brevard Music Center Orchestra led by Norwegian conductor Rune Bergmann. This season, Sussmann makes debuts with the New World Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, Grand Rapids Symphony and with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris.
