In Baltimore, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) opens its 2021-22 Season of Discovery by paying tribute to 9/11.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performs annually through the State of Maryland. On Saturday was BSO's first large indoor crow since pre-pandemic.

The BSO pays tribute to the victims and honors the survivors of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks on Saturday evening at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall

World-renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman helped open the season as the leader and soloist.

The concert had a moment of silence and a performance of the "The Star-Spangled Banner."

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra had several COVID-19 protocols, which included proof of vaccination and face masks indoors.

More information about BSO can be found here.
