The Benedetti Foundation annouces the Global Violin Sessions: A Cultural Exchange Part 2
The Global Violin Sessions are back for a 2nd edition from April 18 to May 8!
Featuring Guest Artists including Aly Bain, Phil Cunningham, Jenna Reid, The Ayoub Sisters, Timothy Chooi and Laure Chan, this Virtual Session is a tale of discovery, globalism and cultural exchange as we continue our trip around the world through the eyes of the violin.
Technique, sound, rhythm and melody will be taught and explored. But these sessions have a deeper story to tell. We can embrace our similarities whilst celebrating our differences. We are capable of holding duality in our minds and hearts, and these sessions will explore this.
On our musical journey we will gain insight into the musical worlds of different traditions, told by the violin and led by a line-up of great musicians.
The Sessions take place between 18 April – 8 May, across three weekends. Participants can select which weekends they wish to take part in, and recordings will be made available for registered participants.

Week 2: April 30 & May 1:
